There is probably thousands of sites out there that tell you how to make money online. I have read article after blog after tweet and they all say the same things.....it's easy to do, just do these 10 things and bang your rich.
All this may sound to good to be true and if you don't have a few good tricks up your sleeves your chances of getting rich are slim. Making money from a blog has never worked for me and I'm betting, because you are here reading this blog, that it's not working for you either.
The first get rich quick theme, that I will be testing, is Google Ad Sense. With Google Ad Sense you can create advertising for your website on a pay-per-click(PPC)basis. Depending on how much traffic your website receives per day, your potential growth can be anywhere from $1 dollar a day to well over $40,000 a month.
As you can see I have already set up an account and Google Ads are now displaying on this blog. It has been a week now and my revenue is just pouring in....well not really I made a whopping .23 cents.
Adding Ad Sense to your blog or website will only work if you have traffic already being driven to your site. If you don't have any traffic to your site then that should be your first priority. There are many ways in which to drive traffic to your site; I will not go into details on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in this article but will briefly highlight what I feel to be the top two.
In the land of SEO, content is king. You need to have content that your follower will want to read about and share with their friends. Engage your reader by asking questions, replying to e-mails promptly, and creating article that are current and relevant to your audience.
Link Building ranks high when trying to increase your Page Rank with Google. Google seems to love links being directed to your site. You should seek out other websites and blogs that are within your niche and have decent page ranking and ask them to create a link to your site. While this may take some convincing for the owners of the site to link to you; It will pay off in the long run.
Don't expect your traffic you increase over night, give it some time and engage your readers and you should see your traffic slowly starting to increase.
